Jackleen Levy is currently a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern working towards licensure in the state of Florida. Jackleen has a strong foundation working with both children and adolescents who struggle with a wide range of mental health issues such as: depression, anxiety, trauma, low self esteem, grief, anger, addiction and more.
Jackleen’s educational background includes a MA in Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University at West Point, New York. She has also obtained her B.A. in Psychology from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. Jackleen has been trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Gestalt Play Therapy. She is also certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Suicide Prevention.
Jackleen strives to create a safe and nurturing atmosphere in which clients can be supported in their efforts to change and grow as well as become reconnected to their strengths so that they are able to meet their goals. She aims to help clients find healthy perceptions of themselves and strengthen their relationships with others so they can understand themselves as peaceful, complete, whole and safe.
